Footpatrol and adidas Mark 20 Years Of Collabs With An Ostrich Skin Superstar

adidas and London-based sneaker chain Footpatrol have a history that goes back two decades, first linking in 2005 and branching out across nearly all of the Three Stripes’ footwear verticals since. Their first collab has aged into a certified grail, a green Superstar Vintage created for the model’s 35th anniversary. Fast forward to 2025 and adidas and Footpatrol are celebrating 20 years of collabs with a different take on the same silhouette, this time under the adidas Consortium banner.

The sneaker arrives in a winter-ready all-black colorway made from premium ostrich skin leather — simple, elegant, and incredibly wearable. The old collegiate-style “FP” logo is placed tastefully on the lateral heel, while retro Superstar branding comes etched in gold. Footpatrol’s gas mask logo appears on an added lace dubrae, and snakeskin stripes on the medial side call back to the boutique’s work on the adidas Campus 80s in the late 2000s.

The Footpatrol x adidas Superstar Vintage Consortium drops November 15th via footpatrol.com and the brand’s London and Paris storefronts. See official images below if you’re moved to cop.
