The Travis Scott Fragment Air Jordan 1 Is The Most Wanted Sneaker Release Of All Time

This past weekend’s online release of the Travis Scott shoes revealed one thing: La Flame is still the hottest name in sneakers. Already holding the mantle as the most-wanted sneaker release ever with his Air Jordan 1 Low “Reverse Mocha”, Cactus Jack–with the assistance of Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design–took the crown with the most online entries for a single shoe release in history.

The numbers don’t lie: the online draw for the Travis Scott Fragments that went live on Saturday, November 15th at 3PM ET drew a whopping 4.4 million legitimate entries. By comparison, the 2022 release of the Reverse Mocha drew 3.8 million entries on SNKRS–a number confirmed by Nike.

Although the sheer number of entries is impressive, there are a few components to sneaker releases that need to be considered. Firstly, the SNKRS window for the Reverse Mocha was limited, whereas the Travis Scott Fragment raffle window was close to ten hours. Additionally, bots–software programs that automate raffle entries in mass quantity–skew the true number of active participants. According to statistics shared by the Nike SNKRS team, nearly half of their entries are bots. We can only apply that same percentage to other online draw releases, with the argument that there are potentially more given the sheer demand for this sneaker release.

In any case, 4.4 million entries is still 4.4 million against a rumored product run of 40,000 pairs. That’s a number that will likely not be topped for a while, and if it does, it’s clear that Travis Scott has to be involved.
