Stranger Things x Nike LD-1000 Releases On December 4th

The fifth and final season of Stranger Things is a cultural event that will dominate the media landscape through the holidays, and Netflix is not pulling any punches when it comes to licensing partnerships made to celebrate. That naturally includes a heavy push in the footwear space, with lineups from Clarks, Crocs, and most notably Nike, which is set to launch a five-shoe collection of Nike and Converse models shortly after the first four episodes air.

Here we have the Stranger Things x Nike LD-1000, featuring a palette inspired by the wardrobe of Erica Sinclair (played by Priah Ferguson), who wore several purple-and-yellow outfits during the show’s earlier seasons. The LD-1000 is a 1970s running model that speaks to Nike’s earliest days with a waffle outsole, and has been quietly resurging since last year. This collaborative pair largely resembles a general release, which makes sense given that the collection will draw plenty of interest from the casual non-sneakerhead, crowd.

Purple mesh and suede handle most of the upper, complemented by yellow leather on the Swoosh and backtab. As with the rest of the Nike x Stranger Things lineup, the shoe goes into the “upside down” with flipped branding on the tongue and heel. Co-branded insoles reference the series’ main villain, Vecna, while custom packaging and a set of four show-inspired pins round out the release.

The Stranger Things x Nike LD-1000 “Erica Sinclair” drops via Nike SNKRS on December 4th, 2025 alongside an Air Max 1, Field General High, and two Converse silhouettes. Expect a $105 USD retail price if these are making your wish list.
