CLOT And Bape Have Another adidas Superstar In The Works

A potential general release version?

CLOT And Bape Have Another adidas Superstar In The Works

If it wasn’t already abundantly clear, adidas has been pushing CLOT as one of their foremost collaborators with a run of three-headed link-ups. Edison Chen’s brand has joined hands with Caroline Hu and Anthony Edwards as a part of that. However, arguably their most significant play is still on the horizon, as shots of a fresh CLOT x BAPE x adidas Superstar begin circulating.

This marks the second shoe to carry this specific title, following a “Hyperstrike” Bape CLOT Superstar let loose at ComplexCon. As its super-limited subhead indicates, that darkened version was in extremely short supply. While it’s unclear whether this one will hit the public, it does carry over many of the same hallmarks, chiefly the combination of CLOT’s Silk Royal patterning and BAPE’s ABC camo, here applied atop a refined, polished leather foundation rather than providing the base of the shoe. With those trademarks draping the Three Stripes branding on one shot, the Star emblem on the other, and a patch on the heel of both shoes, CLOT branding appears in embossed detail while the earthy print skulks below it. To round out, the ripple sole that CLOT introduced in the early days of their Three Stripes partnership defines the platform, and debossed logos of either streetwear brand appear on the heel.

Early seeded pairs are currently taking over the timeline, but concrete launch details are in short supply. Catch in-hand looks at the CLOT x BAPE x adidas Superstar below — we’ll keep you updated with more info on this release via this page and our Sneaker Release Dates hub.
