Salehe Bembury Serves Up The Crocs Juniper In “Boba”

For reasons likely understandable to anyone with even a hint of interest in sneakers, much of our coverage surrounding one Salehe Bembury begins with one word: “workload.” If we thought that the designer’s plate was full before, he’s only squeezed more onto it with the announcement of his independent Spunge brand, a wholly owned venture that adds to his partnerships with PUMA, New Balance, and Crocs.

Before that Bembury-controlled venture and the PUMA Hali 1, arguably the silhouette to carry the most of his independent design language was the Crocs Juniper, one of the first earnest sneaker designs in the Colorado company’s catalog and one that proudly wore the NYC native’s trademark fingerprint hardware underfoot. Continuing a steady drumbeat of novel colorways that’ve already paced the newswire throughout 2025 is a “Boba” overhaul, surprisingly shifting from the unmissable vibrancy associated with Salehe into more digestible fare. The wrap-around sole unit approaches the aesthetics of a gum sole, while black synthetics dominate the upper, only interrupted by contrast TPU panels in white and a dark grey mesh collar.

Once a model shrouded in mystery and eliciting “Juniper when” comments across Bembury’s social platforms, the Crocs Juniper now has a well-established release cadence. The announced December 4th drop data via salehebembury.com will likely be followed by a wide launch on Crocs.com. A $120 retail price is expected.
