Two of the most formidable forces in Asian streetwear are teaming up. Edison Chen’s CLOT and Nigo’s Bape, both icons in their own right, are joining forces under the adidas umbrella, which both brands now call home following CLOT’s departure from Nike last year. On the heels of a super-limited Bape CLOT adidas Superstar that dropped exclusively at ComplexCon, the trio is circling back with a new version slated for a wider public release.
This collaboration packs in the signature elements of each brand with impressive balance. The silhouette starts with CLOT’s ripple-soled Superstar tooling, the same platform that launched the CLOT x adidas partnership last February. Bape’s presence shows up through a green camo shooting-star logo on the lateral side, with the brand’s hallmark pattern also appearing on the backtab and medial stripes. All those areas feature subtle debossed CLOT logos so as to further tie the two labels together.

Glossy white leather dresses the upper and shell toe, the latter swapping out its traditional rubber for a more dressy appearance. Brown leather welting bridges the upper and the sole, complemented by military green accents down below. All three brands share space on the tongue tag, while custom gold lace dubraes read “Bape” and “CLOT.”
The Bape x CLOT x adidas Superstar releases globally on December 5th via adidas and select retailers for $220 USD. See our Where To Buy section below to enter for the drop.
