Goodbye, green.

Hidden NY Takes A Trip To The Dark Side With The ASICS GEL-DS Trainer 14 “Dusk”

Anonymous Instagram moodboard turned streetwear label Hidden NY is one of the best examples of how strong content curation and identity can build brands. The page has amassed nearly three million followers and parlayed that influence into a partnership with ASICS, turning what once were fan-made mockups into actual retail releases. Until now, every Hidden NY x ASICS project has revolved around the brand’s signature pine green, a color deeply tied to its visual language. This time, there’s a twist. Hidden NY and ASICS are dropping their latest collab on December 5th, shelving the former’s signature green hue in favor of a new black, blue, and silver palette.

The model of choice is the ASICS GEL-DS Trainer 14, a 2009-born runner revived for today’s Sportstyle category and recently used in collaborations with NFL star Stefon Diggs and ASICS frontman Kiko Kostadinov. Hidden’s pair, titled “Dusk,” features a hexagonal blue print near the toe box and blue–silver detailing throughout the quarter. The tongue ribboning ties into the theme with moon phase graphics, while silver H logos appear on the pull tab and lateral heel.

The extras might be even more eye-catching than the shoes themselves. Hidden’s announcement post shows a large co-branded black crate and a metal moon-phase clock, suggesting the full package could be more elaborate than usual. It’s unclear whether the sneakers will be sold separately, but if not, expect a significant price jump over the model’s typical MSRP (which is $120).

The Hidden NY x ASICS GEL-DS Trainer 14 “Dusk” drops Friday, December 5th at 3:00 PM ET via hiddenppf.com, with Hidden PPF members getting early access at noon. No larger global release will occur. See detailed images below if these are a must-cop.
