If you had somehow written off the hype for Pharrell Williams’ adidas Jellyfish following its three-colorway market introduction, each commanding sky-high resale premiums, the in-person activations for its all-black edition quickly proved you wrong. The VIRGINIA product remains arguably the hottest commodity going, and neither the multi-hyphenate nor the Three Stripes are content leaving things at its inclusion in the 2025 sneaker of the year conversation.
With a healthy amount of sample pairs previewed by the Grammy-winning producer and those in his circle over the past few months, one we can comfortably report will be hitting the streets in 2026 is the adidas Jellyfish “Triple Black,” its launch tacitly confirmed via official images. Most of the real estate here makes good on that monochromatic title, save for the synthetic extensions that flirt with a cool blue, and laces and lace loops that add reflective materials into their stealthy arrangements. Overall, this is something of a combo breaker for the silhouette, previously almost exclusively relying on a white base with various accent shades (the debut orange and subsequent blue, green, and grey counterpunches).
Even if we can showcase these brand shots, we can’t tie down a concrete date at this juncture, but smart money is on the adidas Jellyfish “Black” hitting CONFIRMED for Spring 2026. The silhouette’s $300 MSRP is expected to remain for this edition.
