Afforded a spotlight and runway to itself as it began its run on the shelves, the New Balance 2000 is now cozying up to its catalog siblings. The Boston brand’s end-of-year slate has begotten a slew of “Cortado”-coated editions, from the New Balance 204L to one of a duo of weather-ready, ripstop New Balance 2010 colorways slated for release in the coming months.
Carrying those same chocolatey overtones, the New Balance 2000 is now the latest to carry the highlighted shade. Though neutrals are always a focus of any NB kicks, the New Balance 2000 in particular hasn’t approached this sort of earthy tonality yet, expressing some versatility for the retro-futuristic silhouette. As a whole, the model has already started showing off some experimental variations for the impending Spring/Summer slate, including an aggressive spinoff build and a shimmering stealthy counterpart.
Though New Balance has yet to announce a date for its official drop, the New Balance 2000 “Cortado” has already started appearing at retailers like Champs, commanding a $170 retail price. Hit the “Where To Buy” widget below for direct pick-up links.
