The Nike Dunk Low’s Dress Shoe Pivot Continues In White And Brown

Two more in this zhuzhed-up series.

The Nike Dunk Low’s Dress Shoe Pivot Continues In White And Brown

It’s Barbie and the Nike Dunk Low in a race to see who’s had the most jobs over their lifespan. In its mile-long CV, Peter Moore’s design has been a blocky futurist, an outdoor explorer, and perhaps most famously, a skater. While its side gigs have been plenty entertaining, its next job update keeps things more traditional, as a range of dress-inspired Nike Dunk Low releases come to the fore.

Letting loose black and olive colorways on January 6th, the Dunk Low “Dress” chalks off what’s likely the next two most obvious choices, leaning on white and brown uppers while maintaining the all-black sole units from those two predecessors. Compositionally, the comprehensive leather materials up top constitute the most impactful shift that pushes the Dunk closer to the loafer zone, but the glossy finishes pasted in those sections and thin strip laces can’t be discounted, either.

The Nike Dunk Low in “White” and “Brown” doesn’t carry a concrete release date, but don’t be shocked to see these two pairs tied together on the SNKRS app the way the black and olive have been. A $135 retail price is expected for either one whenever those launches do come to pass.
