“Thunder And Lightning” Strike The adidas Anthony Edwards 2

Shocking.

“Thunder And Lightning” Strike The adidas Anthony Edwards 2

Anthony Edwards is a contender unto himself. Despite the shapeshifting that the Timberwolves roster has undergone around him, still he and his Minnesota squad have been among the Western Conference’s best the whole way through. Similarly, Ant Man continues to be a shining face on the adidas roster, meting out solid colorways of his latest silo and marching on once again with the adidas Anthony Edwards 2 “Thunder and Lightning.”

While the additional paneling and overall material on the sequel effort have afforded more color-blocking possibilities, this electrifying effort sticks to the two-tone script we became so comfortable seeing on his first sig shoe. The quarter, midline, and synthetic ventilation are here all joined in jet black, leaving the TPU anchoring, sole unit, and Edwards’ forested logo in a lucid yellow. Perhaps there’s some “squint to see it” connection to his Holy Spirit prep days, but more than likely this is just an attention-grabbing, palatable look to add to the shoe’s history.

The adidas Anthony Edwards 2 “Thunder and Lightning” is expected to touch down during the Spring 2026 season, potentially as soon as this month (January 2026). Once released, expect the stock standard $130 MSRP in men’s sizing.
