The adidas Dame X “Triple White” Marks A Fresh Start

Sneaker brands looked on in disappointment as multiple signature athletes went down with Achilles injuries last season: Jayson Tatum, Tyrese Haliburton, and 13-year veteran Dame Lillard, creating a less than ideal number of models without their premier face attached (for now). The good news is that all of their recoveries are going swimmingly, a testament to team trainers and the advances made in understanding and treating a once career-altering setback.

Lillard is expected to miss all of the 2025-26 season, but his next will mark a fresh start for multiple reasons, with the 9x All-Star both returning from injury to his longtime NBA home in Portland after two seasons with the Bucks. The adidas Dame X here unintentionally exemplifies that idea, starting anew with a crisp “Triple White” makeup. Simple, versatile, and quite a bargain at just $95.

These are due out now on adidas and select retailers. See official images below and hit our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse more upcoming basketball shoes.

In other news, the Nike Kobe 6 “All-Star 3D” is returning in Protro form.
