Look no further than the “Gamma” 11s and “Black Cat” 4s: all-black (or close to it) Jordans were among 2025’s most sought-after pairs, offering the kind of crowd-pleasing appeal and versatility that collectors and casuals crave alike. 2026 will see Jordan Brand focus on silhouettes that came about later in Michael Jordan’s NBA tenure, particularly the Jordan 14 through Jordan 17. Closing out the year is an Air Jordan “Black Pack” consisting of black-shaded takes on all of those models.
The Jordan 14 Low, Jordan 15, Jordan 16, and Jordan 17 Low make up the collection, each expected to feature black-dominant colorways and varying animal textures (pony hair, ostrich skin, snakeskin, etc.). The mockups shown below provide a loose idea of what to expect, but it remains to be seen which textures will pin down which models.
It’s become quite clear that Jordan Brand’s focus is on the early to mid 2000s, both in terms of the models it’s planning to retro as well as specific styles that first dropped in that era (like the Jordan 5 “Black/University Blue” and Jordan 4 “Tour Yellow”). The Air Jordan 14 and Jordan 17 have each been shown some love over the past few seasons, but the 15 and 16 haven’t seen daylight in years. That’s set to change in 2026 with a number of key releases for each.
Per Sneaker Files, the Air Jordan “Black Back” is set to release in two parts. The Jordan 14 Low and Jordan 16 are slated to land October 1st, while the Jordan 15 and Jordan 17 Low are due out November 2nd. Pairs will be available via Nike SNKRS and NBHD retailers.
