We’re just days removed from the College Football National Championship, but the drippiest coach in the NCAA is wasting no time showing off PE heat for next season. Deion Sanders, or Coach Prime, just took to IG to flex some of the cleats his Colorado Buffaloes will be able to rotate through come autumn, including plenty of new black, white, and gold mashups of the Air Diamond Turf and Air DT Max 96. We’ve also been tipped off to some of Prime’s potential sideline options: new Colorado-inspired takes on the resurgent Air Diamond Turf 2.
Already confirmed to return in its original “49ers” and “Prime Red” colorways, the Diamond Turf 2 figures to be the go-to torchbearer for Deion Sanders shoes in 2026. And like we saw with the original Diamond Turf and DT Max 96, Deion himself will be supporting that focus with a number of Colorado PEs of his own.
Sanders’ reel shows him being handed a mockup sheet featuring twenty potential Air Diamond Turf 2 PEs for 2026 that he’ll have to choose from. Pretty much every combination of Colorado Buffaloes team colors is represented, including standouts like an all-gold pair and a high-contrast black and gold option at the bottom. We’re looking forward to seeing some of these come to fruition.
