Few sneaker brands have seen their stock rise in the 2020s quite like ASICS. Literally. The company is up over 400% in the past five years, a massive testament to a mesh runner trend the brand has in equal parts created and relished in.
2026 will see ASICS Sportstyle keep its foot on the gas with a number of new models and spotlight silhouettes, many of which appear in the brand’s Spring/Summer 2026 preview. The GEL-Kayano 12.1 hybrid, Skyhand, and GEL-SD Lyte are all given multiple new makeups, including plenty of colorful options that suit the warmer days to come. We’re also poised to see more from the ASICS GEL-NYC 2.0, a chunkier, more cushioned evolution of its predecessor introduced via a HAL Studios.

The real headliners here are the GEL-Kinetic 2.0 and ASICS Hypersync, the latter being a laced version of the Issey Miyake-designed Hyper Taping. The GEL-Kinetic 2.0, meanwhile, is the latest evolution of ASICS’ premium Kinetic family, taken with an entirely new sculpted midsole and TPU detailing up top.
Expect all the sneakers previewed to release during the Spring/Summer 2026 shopping window, which runs from January to June 2026. We can confirm that the GEL-Kinetic 2.0 shown above is set to drop April 24th, and the grey/silver Hypersync is set for March 6th. We’ll be rolling out individual write-ups as each pair approaches its respective release date.
