Nike Adds A Mesh Shroud To The Shox TL

One of the lesser-discussed outcomes of the ongoing Y2K trend is the return of zippered shrouds, either by way of retros like the Air Max Sunder and Flightposite or new models like the Converse SHAI 001. The Nike Shox TL, already oozing 2000s nostalgia with its unmistakable cushioning, is now poised to go down that route with a set of reimagined women’s styles for Spring 2026.

Available in black and white colorways, the Shox TL here forgoes its usual TPU cage exterior in favor of see-through mesh on both sides, joined over the tongue by a new zipper enclosure. A new leather panel wraps around the base of the forefoot and toe, while the heel maintains its usual appearance. Do note that traditional laces and eyelets are still present under the shroud, similar to the Air Max Dn Roam.
