With nearly seven decades in Los Angeles and nine World Series titles to show for it, the Dodgers are about as synonymous with SoCal as any franchise can be. Still, the organization has never lost sight of its Brooklyn origins, regularly honoring the milestones and figures that defined its early years. That connection now takes physical form with a Converse Chuck 70 collaboration by Los Angeles streetwear mainstay UNDEFEATED, modeled here by Brooklyn’s own Futura.
Futura was just two years old when the Dodgers headed west, but like many New Yorkers, he’s undoubtedly grown up on stories of Jackie Robinson, Ebbets Field, and the controversial split that still stirs coast-to-coast tension. If there’s one thing both sides might agree on, though, it’s this sneaker.
The galleries above and below reveal a premium black ostrich leather upper, complete with the iconic “B” on the sides and a script Brooklyn logo on the tongue. Converse × UNDEFEATED × Dodgers co-branding lands on the heel in baby blue, joined by a matching midsole stripe and UNDEFEATED’s “5 Strikes” logo on the inner tongue.
