UNDEFEATED, Converse, and the MLB joined forces to re-tell the story of the Brooklyn Dodgers through an elegant Chuck 70, simultaneously honoring the great Jackie Robinson through the storytelling elements of the project. Now, they’re jumping to the present day of the iconic franchise with an LA version of the shoes, and they’ve called on one of the strongest arms in the major leagues to put the finishing touches on this epic collaboration.
Los Angeles Dodgers star pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto appears on behalf of UNDEFEATED for the West Coast leg of this release. The flamethrower reveals an alternate version of the Chuck 70 dressed in navy blue faux ostrich leather uppers, bridging the Brooklyn Dodgers edition with the modern era. Los Angeles logos appear on the lateral ankle in bold stitching, while the Dodgers’ timeless lettering appears across the tongue. Folded down, you’ll see both symbols proudly displayed on each side.
