Andrew Rizzo Following multiple teasers, Patta’s Nike Mercurial “Waves” collaboration is finally upon us.
Not that seasoned sneaker fans need much of a refresher, but the collection draws inspiration from Patta’s run of “Waves” Nike Air Max collabs, bringing the series’ signature motif to Nike Football’s premier boot line ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Nike is leaning heavily on its partners heading into the summer, also teeing up a Travis Scott Nike Phantom 6 collection spanning both indoor and outdoor styles. Patta is also expected to release a Nike Cryoshot collaboration, although details on that project have been slow to surface.
Two Patta x Nike Mercurial “Waves” colorways are on the way: a mismatched black and white look for grade schoolers and a “Noise Aqua” makeup for men. Both feature silver mesh uppers, co-branding on the tongue, heel, and insoles, plus iridescent firm ground plates underfoot.
The Patta x Nike Mercurial “Waves” collection releases May 5th via Nike. The men’s style comes in at $320, while the GS carries a $150 sticker price. See official images below if you’re looking to score a pair.
