Andrew Rizzo After an initial tease on Instagram, Pharrell’s adidas Jellyfish in the Friends & Family pink edition has surfaced yet again. adidas is offering a rare opportunity to access the pair through a Miami-exclusive activation this weekend during the F1 energy.
Located at these specific coordinates [25.780039, -80.128354], the installation is open right now. Visitors can enter a raffle for a free pair of the Pink edition, with only a select number of winners chosen. As of this announcement, a retail release is not expected.
It’s been pretty quiet on the Pharrell x adidas front lately… almost too quiet. All the more reason for Skateboard P to remind us who was behind one of last year’s most talked-about new models. The adidas Jellyfish has indeed proven one of the most sought-after and elusive silhouettes to cross our desks in recent seasons, boasting immediate sell-throughs and drawing plenty of attention whenever a new colorway surfaces – hence today’s headline.
Pharrell has debuted a new adidas Jellyfish colorway on his IG burner, a never-before-seen style featuring vibrant hot pink accents. No release info has been shared yet, but we’re betting these are too strong to stay under wraps for long.
This is one of a few unreleased Jellyfish colorways floating around right now, joined by the adidas Jellyfish “Crystal Sand” (expected to drop in September) and a brown/yellow pair previewed on the Louis Vuitton runway last year. The Jellyfish now runs concurrent with the adidas Adistar XLG 2.0, an unofficial takedown that retails for nearly half the price.
