Matt Varga The Dodge SRT or Hellcat is a street titan, elevated in culture and in the world of auto collecting. In their most recent arc, Under Armour is renewing a push to mint a couple such icons of their own, leading the two American companies to each other for a collab collection just revealed via retailers.
Along with shoes like the Arc 96 and Sola, both veering closer to the retro runner end of things, the UA HB-LO represents a class of fresh faces that intentionally prioritizes their branding, here turned from a subtle hit into a massive overlay on the sidewalls. Ironically, this specific colorway visually blunts that effect with a flooded black leather upper, but the attitude that the silhouette brings to the table is intact all the same. Off-white sole units, wavy and uneven in their linework, and flares of Hellcat-ready red close out this pair.
Alongside this collab pair, UA and Dodge will be dropping a range of apparel options as well. Though more is expected, we’ve already caught wind of retro “Hellcat” and “True American Miracle” tees, as well as a heavily branded, flame-licked dad cap.
The Under Armour x Dodge SRT capsule, including the HB-LO and the apparel shown here, is set to release on June 21st. The sneaker clocks in at $140 in adult sizing.
