Jae Tips’ SAVIOR x Nike Air Bakin’ Low Releasing Spring 2027

Jae Tips’ first Nike collaboration is officially beginning to take shape. Sneaker News can exclusively confirm that the SAVIOR founder will release his what is presumed to be his inaugural Nike project during the Spring/Summer 2027 season, centering around the newly introduced Air Bakin’ Low.

The news follows Nike’s announcement earlier this year that Jae Tips had joined the Swoosh after a celebrated run with Saucony, where his vibrant storytelling and distinctive design language helped bring renewed attention to the brand among a younger generation of sneaker enthusiasts. While Nike has remained quiet about the partnership’s long-term direction, his influence is exactly why the Swoosh stepped in to link up with the Bronx native.

Earlier this week at Paris Fashion Week, Nike officially unveiled the Air Bakin’ Low for the first time, presenting the reworked basketball model in two launch colorways. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with many drawing comparisons to the bold outdoor aesthetic that defined Nike’s ACG line during the 1990s. Jae Tips himself has been in Paris throughout Fashion Week, and eagle-eyed fans may have noticed him wearing the Supreme x Nike Air Bakin—a subtle hint that his own project could be waiting in the wings.

The Air Bakin’ Low also offers an early glimpse into what Jae Tips’ role at Nike could become. While he may eventually work with the brand’s modern franchises (he wore the Vomero Plus for his official announcement), Nike could be entrusting him with a specific era of footwear that has cherished by the uptown community such as the Air Foamposite One and other Nike Basketball icons from the late 1990s into the early 2000s. If that’s the blueprint, the Air Bakin’ Low is just the start.

For the Jae Tips SAVIOR x Air Bakin’ Low, we can expect two colorways of Cobalt Bliss/Chile Red/Varsity Maize/Atlantic Blue/Pine Green and Black/Blue Beyond/Purple Stardust/Arctic Pink/Pine Green, both of which lean heavily on multi-colored palettes much like his recent Saucony work.
