Following under-the-radar Nike SB Dunk and Jordan Air Ship collaborations, Beijing-based sneaker store Soulgoods is about to have its biggest global collab moment yet, and it’s landing in one of the quirkiest corners of the Nike catalog.
What began as a desire to add a mudguard to the classic Footscape Woven, itself already a cult-classic hybrid, grew into a fully co-designed silhouette with a new name and new purpose (as first reported by StockX’s Brendan Dunne). The Nike Homescape Woven features a rugged trail outsole, a collapsible heel for easy around-the-house wear, and a wonderfully chaotic upper combining leather, hairy suede, and a woven lattice on the sides. We can concede that such a non-traditional footwear option might not be for everyone, but this is exactly what great collabs are made of: vision, intention, and plenty of character. The Homescape also slots neatly into the huarache and fisherman sandal wave currently sweeping footwear, albeit rooted in very different design references.
Two colorways of the Soulgoods x Nike Homescape Woven are en route, one in “Beyond Blue” and another in “Medium Orewood Brown.” We can confirm the latter will release July 11th for $180. See official retailer images below if you’ll be going for a pair.
