Slim and simple are two keywords for what makes a successful sneaker in 2026, consumers increasingly gravitating toward low-key models that style effortlessly and stand the test of time. With that in mind, Nike has brought back the original Moon Shoe from the 1970s, first via a string of Jacquemus collaborations and more recently with a proper mainline run of heritage looks.

Here we have the Nike Moon Shoe “Sail/Black,” not necessarily an OG colorway as the 1970s prototype never saw an actual release, but a compelling reflection of the model’s elder status all the same. The off-white Sail leather foundation gives off a pre-aged aesthetic right out of the box, contrasted by black leather Swooshes and light grey suede on the protective bumpers.
