Original article published on August 27th, 2026:

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Vans isn’t slowing down with the Old Skool Pearlized just yet, because more colorways of this trendy style are set to establish the modified model as one of the must-haves for the Holiday season.

Following our recent look at the red edition, another upcoming colorway has surfaced in a particularly loud Lime Green and Black makeover. The pair may look familiar to those keeping a close eye on Vans: it was first previewed during Men’s Paris Fashion Week this past June, when the brand showcased a much larger assortment of upcoming Pearlized styles.

The formula remains unchanged; bright lime green canvas dominates the upper, contrasted by black suede across the toe and lace collar. Black also fills the signature Vans Sidestripe, creating a sharp divide between the two colors. Of course, this wouldn’t be a Pearlized Old Skool without the embellishments; pearls and crystal-like detailing decorate the toe, heel, tongue, and Sidestripe, adding a deliberately elegant touch to a shoe that’s otherwise designed to look a little beaten up.

That contrast has become central to the Pearlized series and the growing demand for the skate lifestyle brand as a whole. Pairing jewelry-like decoration with distressed elements and a pre-scuffed midsoles has done wonders for the brand that was suffering from lack of relevancy in recent years.

Release information for the Vans Old Skool Pearlized “Lime Green/Black” has yet to be confirmed, but expect these in Holiday 2026 for $125.
