It’s arguably the biggest remaining question when it comes to the men’s bracket, now that influencer controversies have been dispensed with, and the on-court product is now back in focus. While the now-defeated Naomi Osaka has been the Swoosh’s foremost style icon in Queens over the past few years, Carlos Alcaraz has stepped into the ring for 2026. On our end, one of the biggest storylines in Queens this year is Alcaraz teaming up with Travis Scott for a two-headed apparel and footwear collection, including the Zoom Vapor 12 and Air Force 1.
The original “Mocha” style colorway was only offered for those in attendance for the Open’s first few days, exclusive to an on-site Nike store just outside of Louis Armstrong stadium. Yet even as the No. 3-ranked player in the world enters the quarterfinals, he and the Swoosh demonstrate there’s more surprises in store. During this weekend’s matches, Carlos Alcaraz debuted something of a “Reverse” colorway, utilizing a stealthy base and fitted with white trim, including the unmistakable Reverse Swoosh.
Given that the Spaniard has his own performance version with an altered sole unit, one that never sees public release, it’s likely that this qualifies as a player exclusive.
