Now past the ten-year mark, there’s plenty that Keith Herron and his Advisry have accomplished. Co-signs from Tyler, the Creator, Steve Lacy, and Lil Yachty are chief among them, each of those multi-hyphenates reaching for the brand’s pieces as it went from a screen printing operation into a Fashion Week mainstay. Yet footwear has largely been an untouched vertical, despite teasing an adidas collaboration in 2024 that eventually remained runway-exclusive.
Could Advisry’s show at NYFW 2026 have teased an eventual step into the ring? That much remains unclear, but HOKA’s Clifton UTL was a star of the “America, Still” show this past week. The silhouette, let loose into the brand’s catalog towards the top of the month, brings the highly-regarded Clifton package into the lifestyle lane. Beyond getting released colorways like the “Cosmic Grey/Cilantro” into model walks, HOKA and Advisry teamed up for a bespoke pair, as Keith Herron utilized a Sashiko-like collision of fabric swatches on the shoe’s upper.
Sadly, this rendition of Advisory x HOKA won’t be coming to the public, but here’s to hoping this primes the pump for future addition to their collab roster; their rolodex already contains names like John Elliott, BEAMS, and XLIM. While we look forward to that, catch shots of the Clifton UTL on-foot for the Advisry show below.
