Naked CPH And Asics Unite For A Sunset-Colored GEL-Cumulus 16

Dropping September 18th.

Naked CPH And Asics Unite For A Sunset-Colored GEL-Cumulus 16

As feminine design has crested in the realm of sneakers, Naked Copenhagen has found themselves as a real beneficiary. With brands scrambling either to establish or bolster their presence in the women’s side of the industry, Naked’s services have now been sought out by adidas, Nike, and Salomon in just this calendar year. Yet some of their partners have known about their strength as a collaborator for even longer, in focus now as ASICS and Naked CPH join up once again.

It’s been some time since the two partners have been billed alongside one another, making splashes in 2022 with the GEL-1130 and further back, in 2015, with a GEL-Lyte 5. Reflecting the Japanese giant’s shifting focus in each of those eras, the partnership now births the ASICS GEL-Cumulus 16, a retro icon that’s taken hold as a mainstay in the ASICS catalog since its 2025 reintroduction.

Though a white and brown combination in the upper may belie these inspirations, the Naked x ASICS GEL-Cumulus 16 is set in motion by Scandinavian sunsets, leading to the fiery GEL units underfoot and one of the double lace options attached here. More granularly, the Copenhagen retailer spells out their moodboard as “when everyone’s back in the city and “let’s sit outside” still feels like a reasonable suggestion.”

The Naked CPH x ASICS GEL-Cumulus 16 releases on September 18th, clocking in at $170 USD or equivalent. Catch detailed shots included below.
