Move over, James Whitner; move over, Victor Victor. The WNBA and its franchises are coming with their own high-volume takeovers of the Uptown, first confirmed with the New York Liberty’s aquamarine do-over and further expanded as the Indiana Fever draped theirs comprehensively in navy suede.

Once a pending Las Vegas Aces edition touches down, the Swoosh will have fitted some of the most fervent franchises with some proud footwear as the postseason approaches. Yet if your loyalty lies less with a specific city and more with the W as a whole, Nike has something for you. Alongside a shock drop of their personalized style, the Indiana Fever reveled the league’s own pair, a trademark orange embrace that echoes past work with Jordan Brand like the Jordan 12 “Brilliant Orange” or the Jordan 38 of similar hues. Of course, a central touch on any of this capsule, a jewel Swoosh cuts through this version’s suede uppers.

Again, early pairs of the WNBA x Nike Air Force 1 Low already dropped via the Indiana Fever Team Store. It’s unclear whether all 15 teams will follow suit, or exactly when we can expect a wide launch.
