The Jordan DMSN 95 Suits Up In “Concord” Stylings

Famously, Michael Jordan’s ambitions with the Air Jordan 11, now among the most beloved in his vaunted signature line, was to offer consumers a style that was as much at home on the basketball court as it was on the hardwood. Though eventually the silhouette would take on its own “Tuxedo” colorway in 2013, until that point, the pair that was most suited to the occasion was arguably the “Concord,” offering the black-tie colorway with the formal patent leather to match.

Could we see a similar pathway for the Jordan DMSN 95? If we’re betting, smart money is on no, but the takedown of the AJ11 looks just as at home in “Concord” styling as its parent model. Having only released a few looks previous to the one featured here, it only makes sense to lean on already approved variations as it begins getting its feet under it. The blocking remains almost exactly the same as on the Retro model, but the branching synthetic cages and overlapping mudguard panels make these distinct from the $200+ sneaker all the same.
