Sneaker News The Fragment Design x Nike Book 2 has surfaced in a new friends-and-family colorway, providing a slightly different take on the collaboration that released earlier this year.
The unreleased pair was spotted on someone within Devin Booker’s camp, revealing an alternate version of the retail Fragment x Book 2. Visually, there isn’t much separating the two as this VIP-only edition largely maintains the same color-blocking and overall execution as the released version, but swaps its blue accents for purple on the medial Swoosh.
The rest of the shoe appears consistent with the version that spilled out to retail; black suede and nylon exteriors, technical spec lettering on the midsole, and the double-bolt logo all in white. subtle change is fitting for Fragment Design, whose collaborations with Nike have long been associated with restrained color palettes and small details rather than dramatic redesigns.
These have appeared alongside some other key Nike Book 2 footwear, revealed by Devin himself during Phoenix’s Media Day obligations. The Suns star debuted a Futura x Nike Book 2 collaboration; we’ll have more details on that soon.
