Sneaker News Edison Chen and adidas Originals are continuing their CLOT partnership for Fall/Winter 2026, with the Superstar once again serving as the centerpiece of their latest collection.
Two versions of the icon are featured, beginning with a dark royal blue suede Superstar that maintains the ripple-soled construction that has become familiar within Chen’s ongoing adidas work. The rich monochromatic upper gives the traditionally casual Superstar a slightly more elevated appearance while maintaining its recognizable shell toe.
The bigger departure comes with the second pair, transforming the Superstar into a Mule by completely removing the heel to create an easy slip-on version of the classic. The tan-colored execution arrives as backless footwear continues to occupy a significant place within the lifestyle market, giving CLOT an opportunity to apply the trend to its vision on adidas’ most recognizable silhouettes.
The collection extends beyond footwear with a new assortment of apparel, with adidas describing Chen’s connections to Hong Kong and Vancouver as central influences. The two cities have long shaped Chen’s identity and CLOT’s broader approach to blending Eastern and Western cultural references.
