For footwear fans heavy into boots and workwear, Nike’s Holiday 2026 catalog is rife with standouts, headlined by a massive push for the Goadome Low, a winterized version of the Rejuven8, and a healthy spread of Forces, Air Max 95s, and more featuring rugged seasonal enhancements. Don’t sleep on the Jumpman side of the equation, though. Like in years past, Jordan Brand is stepping into the cooler months by pulling back the fan favorite Air Jordan 9 NRG Boot, returning to shelves soon in “Olive.”
Borrowing a colorway from the original AJ9 playbook, the Jordan 9 NRG Boot “Olive” kickstarted the winterized spinoff’s legacy in 2017. Tinker Hatfield took inspiration from Nike ACG hiking boots among other things when designing the Jordan 9 back in the ’90s, which in turn informed Jordan Brand’s decision to give it a winterized treatment nearly a decade ago. The tooling here is exactly the same as on prior iterations, the AJ9 opting for metal D-ring eyelets, an upgraded leather upper with a leather tongue, and improved traction suitable for snow and sleet and the like.
The Air Jordan 9 NRG Boot “Olive” returns soon via Nike.com and select retailers for $230. Check out official images below if you’re set on copping.
