Dennis Busenitz and adidas Skateboarding have been in partnership for 15 years. To celebrate this milestone, they’ve recently revealed the adidas Busenitz Indoor Super.
Inspired by an adidas Originals design originally intended for squash from the 1980s, the latest iteration of Busenitz’s signature skate shoe features a number of high-performance enhancements and a streamlined aesthetic. Flexible perforated suede across the upper delivers breathability without sacrificing durability; nylon overlays and a canvas tongue further contribute to the proposition’s improved comfort and ride. Board control and feel is also addressed in the skate imprint’s next design via a herringbone-reminiscent tread pattern that’s complemented by cup-sole pods in the center of the outsole. Aesthetics-wise, roman numerals “X” and “V” are stitched onto left and right heels, respectively, and given a bold red look. The remainder of the shoe is left to sport a classic black and gold color scheme that cements Busenitz’s time riding with adidas in history.
