The Jordan Legacy 312 Low debuted in 2018 with the help of Chicago’s Don C. While the model isn’t officially part of the Air Jordan signature series, it combines elements of its first three designs for a hybrid take that’s gotten considerable praise over the last four years.
Recently seen in a string of “Windy City”-appropriate colorways, the low-top silhouette is also expected to drop in a “White,” “Black” and “Light Smoke Grey” ensemble. Surely informed by the Air Jordan 1 “Shadow” offerings that’ve released over the past several decades, the pair features “Black Toe”-like color blocking across much of the upper, though the titular tone lands on the toe box, tongue and profile swooshes. The Air Jordan 3‘s iconic elephant print assumes its traditional role around the heel, while the sole unit underfoot also nods to Tinker Hatfield’s first design for Michael Jordan’s signature series. Lastly, the “NIKE”-branded lockdown strap running across the vamp is a functional touch that gives the Legacy 312 Low silhouette its own identity.
Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike.com launch in the coming weeks.
