Jovani Hernandez First teased in early September 2022, the Nike Air Foamposite One “Penny Hardaway PE” finally releases tomorrow, April 7.
Back in 1997, a young Hardaway wore a Player-Exclusive style of the then-brand new Nike Foamposite silhouette during certain home games of his Orlando Magic squad. Matching the team’s local uniform, the pair is clad in “White,” although accents throughout the upper and sole unit deviate in everything from “Black” to “Racer Blue” colors. Similar to the re-worked “Metallic Red” Foams, the ex-PE features leather around its tongue, not nubuck. Underfoot, the dimpled outsole takes on a semi-translucent, milky finish. All together, the former Nike Foamposite PE further expands Hardaway’s legacy decades after this last NBA game.
