NIKE, Inc. dominated headlines with its healthy mix of retro and modern designs. A new pair of the Air Jordan 38 surfaced alongside reinterpretations of the Air Jordan 11, Nike Terminator High, and Nike Kobe 6. The biggest piece of news to come out of the Oregon-conglomerate, however, didn’t pertain to any one sneaker release or rumor. Instead, the Swoosh sent social media into a frenzy by launching the Nike Refurbished program online. If you’ve been looking for hype sneakers at a steep discount, the Nike Refurbished platform is for you, although product moves fast.
Away from any swoosh or Jumpman logo, players like New Balance and adidas treated fans to several exciting projects of their own. The Three Stripes unveiled a footwear collection in honor of Marvel’s “Spider-Man 2” video game for PlayStation 5. New Balance didn’t share information on any joint-effort with a superhero entity, but shared looks at upcoming collaborations with MIU MIU, AURALEE, and Jaden Smith’s MSFTSrep clothing line.
