Jovani Hernandez adidas’ ClimaCool solution debuted in 2002 with one purpose: to go beyond moisture wicking by conducting heat and sweat away from the body through a combination of three-dimensional fabric design, ventilation channels, and special materials. Over the last 18 years, ClimaCool technology has appeared on footwear and apparel designed for various sports, with the its latest appearance in the former category – the Climacool Vento – arriving with segmented BOOST cushioning perfect for warm-weather runs.
Clad in both vibrant (Shock Pink, Signal Green) and subtle (Core White, Core Black) hues, SUMMER.RDY knit uppers deliver enhanced breathability in comparison to other adidas Running options. Synthetic overlays across the forefoot and heel provide stability and reinforcement, with some pairs of the Climacool Vento also boasting eye-catching gradients at the latter area. Elsewhere, throats and collars further contribute to the silhouette’s breathability, but their arrangements are reminiscent of models like the Ultra Boost. Sole units, however, revel in a multi-split scheme slightly similar to the Microbounce T1.
