Since launching in April, the New Balance 327 has received much praise not only for its 1970s-inspired aesthetic, but also its penchant for quality materials and compelling color schemes. Its latest iteration indulges in retro-DNA and New Balance‘s top-notch build, but forgoes any artificial coloration. Instead, the undyed option delivers an impressive, natural-colored arrangement that simultaneously champions sustainability.
Light cream trim sets the stage for equally light grey suede overlays throughout the silhouette’s upper. The latter – which includes vamp fangs and oversized lateral “N” logos – traditionally boasts mismatched-dyes, but its natural state saves water, energy, and waste required or produced during the dying process. This 327‘s sock-liner also partakes in the eco-friendly effort as its composed entirely of cork and not a standard stamped fabric makeup. Underfoot, EVA foam cushioning complements the shoe’s top-half in white, while Trail 355-inspired outsoles round out the undyed arrangement in a semi-translucent, gum light brown finish.
The inaugural undyed 327 arrives to NewBalance.com on August 8th. In the meantime, enjoy images of the pair here below.
