Despite a trio of sweet Christmas-inspired Nike Basketball kicks on display during Christmas Day, all eyes were set on Dwyane Wade’s feet and the all-new Air Jordan 2011. I think it was bad marketing that Wade changed his shoes at half time to the 2010's. It appears that Wade doesn't like the 2011's as much as the 2010's. Maybe the 2011's made him miss a dunk in the first half.

Wade has changed 2010's at half time more than once to different colorway the past season. He's been working a sore knee. Either they wanted just a first quarter tease, or he just stuck with something he was already used to.

They not bad but who knows.. These don't come out till Feb. They could still change them up a bit till then. And honestly people who hate on the shoes for the looks?! Cmon! These aren't designed to just look good on. These are basketball shoes.. designed for performance over style.. Everyone hated on the 2010's but they one of the greatest ball shoes I've ever balled in. Let's just hope that the 2011's meet the performance level of last years.

Maybe he was trying to see if the sneaker has the capability to be an "on-court" sneaker and as it seems it's not which is why he switched to the 2010. Think about it JB wants to put a good sneaker better than the model before it and not something that's wack.

Just beacause they are basketball shoes, doesn't mean they have to be fugly.
The LeBron 8's look good.
The Kobe VI's look good.
Even the KD3's look good.
The 2010 look good.
And they are the best basketball shoes I've even gotten.
But these are just out there.
I'm glad that Tinker didn't have anything to do with these.

I was not going to say anything but i have to you little kids don't know nothing about shoes the reason for him wearing these to test them before they release to give tinker his input on the shoe his likes and dislike about the shoe and these are not the finish version plus i am sick and tried of you fools always yelling about these high price cheap made retro at lease the newer j's have better tech and better material don't get me wrong i llike retro but the brand is destroying them to many releases and cheap material high prices like the retro 3 back in 03 were 100.00 and now 150.00 for 2011 release . What happen to the days like back in the early to mid and late 90's when j's cane out like once every 3 to 4 months that what made the shoes so special jb take it back them days

Tinker Hatfield designed the AJ2011. He's also halfway done with the 2012.
These are very simple and clean – meant to be a shoe fit for an 'undercover agent'.

In my opinion Tinker has been struggling creativly for a while, every pair of Jordan's are ridicously ill up to number 14, after that… i can do without them all.. and they seem to get worse by the year.. I dont understand how the same man who created the 3's, 4's, and 11's ((My personal favorites)) would even consider this design worthy of the Jordan brand.. Retros will always be cool, but I think it would be dope if JB started releasing brand new heat, like they did in the brand's hayday.

LETS BE HONEST!!! Not all Jordans back in the day were a spectacular looking shoe. The 2's, 9's, 10's, and the 12's are all pretty basic plain looking shoes.. theres nothin really special or different about them. But that didnt stop them from selling… Jordan doesnt hoop anymore, so the newer releases arent gonna be recieved as well. Point. Blank.

well its more likely that he didnt like how they play. i mean just look at the movement on the shoe in the first pic: what other jordans have ur foot that sideways off the sole of the shoe when you corner? look at recent pics of the cool greys that were played in and they dont move as much. so its deffinately a lot more likely he switched because of the shoe.

If a sneaker is good looking, it can be a basketball shoe. Basketball sneakers are put out to the public as a casual shoe now while still having a basketball sneaker performance. That is what the Jordan company does.

I can't say I'm a big fan of them, partially because they are playing on the number of the year (11) and making the shoes resemble the 11s. Just my opinion. I was wondering why Wade would change the shoes mid game? Who knows. I wonder if the interchangeable soles will make it to an official release or if they'll stick with one type of cushioning. I can't say I was a fan of the pod system (21,22 Air Jordans), so I don't know how well these will go over.
