NCAA Feet: Toe to Toe Syracuse vs. Arizona

With March Madness right around the corner, we’re introducing a new weekly NCAA Feet feature that will run during the month of February. You may have noticed that the overall sneaker game in college basketball is at an all-time high right now, so we thought we’d warm up for the Big Dance with a little competition of our own. We’ll be selecting some of the teams from around the country with the best sneaker arsenals and will be pitting them against each other in our new ‘Toe to Toe’ sneaker battles where you, the readers, will vote to determine the winners. For the first matchup, it will be the Syracuse Orange facing off against the Wildcats of Arizona in what should be some pretty tight competition between two squads that have historically been known to bring some fresh kicks to the court.

While these two teams are officially outfitted by Nike, the Air Jordan Retros are pretty plentiful with both rosters. It’s looking like Arizona may hold a slight edge in the Jordan category, but the ‘Cuse just might make up for it by balancing things out with a nice variety of Nike B-Ball heat, including a spread of Kobes, LeBrons, KD’s and even some iD’s. Keep reading for a look at some of the best sneaker moments from both teams so far this year, and place your vote on who should get the win in our first week of the NCAA Feet ‘Toe to Toe’ sneaker battle.
