In 1993, Nike introduced the “Great Tennis Shoe”, a sneaker that at clear and present on-court appeal as well as off-court style. Like many Nike sneakers designed with a similar aesthetic, the shoes doubled as skate shoes and were used by some notable names like Guy Mariano, Martinez, Drake Jones, and more. Nike teamed up with Supreme to revive this icon of skate-shoe history by using herringbone canvas uppers in five different colors, with ample Supreme log details hitting the insoles, heels, and hangtags. The Supreme x Nike GTS will release at Supreme locations in NY, LA, and London on July 16th with a release at Supreme Tokyo on July 18th. An online release will occur on July 16th.
