We got the tiniest glimpse at some of the regional editions about a month ago, followed by last week’s detailed preview of the upcoming Air Jordan 16.5. Though they rock a distinctly Bulls colourway, these won’t be limited to Chicagoland. The Air Jordan 16.5 combines elements of the Air Jordan XVI (16) and Air Jordan XVII (17) into one of the smoothest mashups we’ve seen. Notably, the patent toe from the XVIs melds perfectly with the eyelet structure of the XVIIs. The triangular side panels of the 16 are here, but neither shoe’s laceguard seems to be present. One feature that is apparent is the skillful mix of both shoes’ midsoles. Take a look at the shots after the jump and let us know if these do the originals justice. Photos via FlightClub
