After Michael Jordan retired, it was time to take the brand to different directions. That surely is evident today, as we see Jordan boots, lifestyle shoes both sporty and casual, and a number of other designs not considered “basketball”. In 2007, the Air Jordan Select was introduced; it featured a solid leather upper with subtle design and minimalistic branding. The outsole of the shoe was almost like a every-day casual dress shoe or a driving shoe, and a Low-top version of this shoe released in early 2007 in a cool grey colorway that dropped alongside the Air Jordan III Cool Grey. This never before released mid version takes some hints from the Air Jordan III as well, with the toe guard and heel bumper as well as the lace-holes. Check out the images after the jump and pick up these rare Jordan gems from lacedheat on eBay.
