Did you know that Michael had no problem playing in low-cut shoes? During the 1995-96 season, Michael wore the Air Jordan XI IE Low, a low-cut version of the Air Jordan XI that featured a completely different upper construction that utilized leather, mesh, and a Fuse-like ventilation system. The original 1996 version featured a translucent outsole and since then, we’ve seen these re-release two additional times with translucent black outsoles, and it appears that we’ll be getting the same once again when the Air Jordan XI IE Low in Black/Varsity Red drops again in the Fall 2011 season. Which do you prefer, the original translucent outsole version or the newer ‘smoked’ outsole?
