Nike Zoom KD III iD Design Contest Winner

Over the 2011 NBA All-Star Weekend, Nike iD presented the Nike Zoom KD III iD Design Contest, in which Kevin Durant himself will hand-select and wear a fan-submitted design for Oklahoma City’s April 10th showdown against the Los Angeles Lakers. In keeping with the LA setting, Kevin Durant has selected a clear Lakers-inspired colorway of his Zoom KD III, featuring a black pebbled leather upper, a purple Flywire panel and outsole, and yellow swoosh, iD text, and laces. A bit strange to be repping the colors of the opposing team, but keep in mind that Durant’s AAU team the PG Jaguars has a similar colorway (remember the Zoom KD II colorway?).
