Is the Nike Air Max 1 Tinker Hatfield‘s greatest sneaker design of all time? Hatfield was certainly on his game when the AM1 debuted in 1987, because he followed that up with some other great Air Max runners while taking the reigns of the budding Air Jordan signature. Hatfield may very well be remembered for his ‘firsts’, so its no crime to label the Air Max 1 as the greatest Nike Running design of all time, especially when the bright Citrine Yellow, cool Gridiron grey, and soothing aqua blue upper brings out the best in this classic, much like a simple dash of salt enhances an everyday cut of steak.
