With a marked increase in the variety of classic runners offered in 2011, New Balance moves toward the end of the Mayan calendar with a very good chance to make next year its strongest on record. Standby models like the New Balance 574 and 576 are a given at this point, so it’s reassuring to see new 998s and 1500s that aren’t just teaser images from Japanese collaborations.
