Nike Sportswear and LAIKA Studios teamed up for a special-edition release of the Air Foamposite One to promote the animated film ParaNorman, which launched nationwide last weekend. The sneaker isn’t just a promotional release, but a tribute to kids everywhere with a penchant for the “weird”, so Nike decided that these ‘weird’ Foamposites would go to those who fit the bill. In order to win one of the 800 available pairs, Twitterers were left with the task of finding a childhood photo depicting “weird”, and sending them over to ParaNorman for review. The 800 ‘weirdest’ photos would be rewarded with these highly sought-after Foamposites, and tonight, at 11:59 PM ET, the contest officially comes to a close, so if you haven’t thrown in your entry yet, this is your final chance to secure one of the 800 pairs! Tweet a ‘weird’ childhood photo of yourself to @ParaNorman with #WeirdWins ParaNorman Foamposites and hope that your weird ways pay off!
