Kanye West x Reebok S. Carter CL Low – 2008 Promo Sample Set

Kanye West x Reebok S. Carter CL Low – 2008 Promo Sample Set

Reebok S Carter Kanye West

The current #ReebokBack campaign has been supported primarily by the celebrity presence around the brand, with hip-hop icon Swizz Beatz leading the charge and adding other names like Rick Ross and Tyga to its roster of representative. But the Reebok x Hip-hop connection is hardly a new concept for the brand, and if anything, it delved into the urban culture influence before other brands did. This rare and forgotten 2008 release is an amalgam of arguably the two biggest names in hip-hop – Jay-Z and Kanye West; the model you see is the Reebok S. Carter CL Low (Jay-Z’s sneaker) designed in four colorways for Kanye West, which released all the way back in 2008. This custom-made set for Kanye West appears to be identical to the released versions, but it’s still a treat to see this powerhouse of a hip-hop combination in sneaker form.
